At its heart is sambar, a dish shaped over time from Karaikudi to homes across Tamil Nadu, including Chettinad, where bold spices and fresh ingredients define its character.

In a difficult moment, while my mother rested in a hospital, I searched for something simple, soft idlis and warm sambar. What I found instead was a gap. Food was available, but comfort was not.
That moment stayed with me because it was not just about hunger. It was about the absence of something that felt like home.
Growing up, my mornings began with my mother’s cooking. Simple, nourishing meals made with care that carried me through long days.
After her passing, that warmth continued through my family, reminding me that true food is rooted in love and consistency.
